A stunning, bi-colored, gem tanzanite crystal. The water-clear, tapered crystal has beautiful hues of blue surrounding the spectacular light smoky core. The preferential light etching of the termination and edge faces really adds character. This beauty exhibits classic pleochrosim with blue prism faces and rich purple edge faces. The smoky center, striking radial internal crazing surrounding the smoky center and light etching of the crystal faces make for a surreal-looking and unique tanzanite. Pristine. 13 grams.
