Gem bi-colored Fluorite & Quartz (old classic) ex Lemanski

Item Description

Superlative water-clear gem fluorite cubes are aesthetically clustered on one side of this classic older two-sided small cabinet combination from the famous Shangbao Mine. The stunning limpid cubes, to 1.8 cm, have subtle very light green color dramatically accented with violet internal phantoms. The cubes also have both sharp and beveled edges, adding character. Scattered lustrous iridescent brassy pyrite crystals are clearly visible through the fluorites and are also embedded on the matrix. A bonus on the back side is the rich covering of lustrous, translucent, frosted quartz points to 2.2 cm. See the 2012 Mineralogical Record article in the China-IV Special Issue, Vol. 43, No. 5.
