Item Description

A beautiful, layered, bi-colored, gem elbaite from an unknown Minas Gerais locale. The glassy, highly lustrous pink and gray pencil is aesthetically swathed in lavender lepidolite crystals at the base. The stand-alone side car is a super accent. The frosted matte termination is underlain by a very thin, green zone. Pristine. Possibly from the Arqueana pegmatite, Coronel Murta. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection, whose label says this is from Aqua Moa (not listed in MINDAT). Excellent and rare elbaite. Value??
