Item Description

Gorgeous, glassy, gem golden-yellow tabular barite crystals crown this impressive 270-degree specimen from the famous late 1990s-early 2000s finds at this Nevada gold mine. The fantastic, crowning pristine crystal is 3.9 cm and the largest projecting edge crystal is 3.3 cm. The crystals at the top are in great shape, with the noted periphery lower down certainly only being a modest detraction to this striking mounded and rich example. These barites immediately vaulted the Meikle Mine into one of the world's great barite localities and this is fine example with gem crystals. Valued at $1500.
