Item Description
A lovely gemmy golden stout tabular compound barite crystal from the famous mid-2000s finds at the now extinct locale. The form is stellar on this adorable very glassy miniature and the striking diverging interior sprays add real pizzazz. Complete all-around and pristine, the edges are all there. The attachment is at the projecting crystals by the number. Ex Francesco Bedogne Colllection # 2469. Dr. Bedogne, 1942-2012, was a well-known Italian mineralogist, prolific author, field collector and collector. Read his biography in the Mineralogical Record Biographical Archive: http://www.minrec.org/labels.asp?colid=118. A very fine barite from this locale.
