Item Description

Golden barites from Pohla set the world standard and this is a very fine and aesthetic miniature. Three, gorgeous, gem, doubly terminated, golden-amber crystals are sculpturally composed and attached to a bit of matrix. The crystals have textbook chisel terminations. The impressive large crystal is 4.5 cm and the secondary crystal is 3.6 cm. The large crystal has a very gently bruised primary termination and the secondary crystal has just of bit of trivial edge wear, which is certainly a modest detraction in the context of this excellent piece. This classic beauty has 360-degree visual appeal from this historic locale in the Erzgebirge.
