Gem Barite w/ phantom (old classic) ex Obodda

Item Description

This very sharp, well-terminated, water-clear, rust-brown barite crystal has a striking and distinctive phantom just below the termination. Nearly pristine, with only trivial edge wear. A fine old-time classsic from the famous Mowbray Mine and probably dates to the late 1800s. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
