It is a stunning, sculptural, water-clear, gem rose quartz with beautiful, intense pink color. There ar eno faces in this material - it forms as massive veins and so this is a contacted cleavage section. Our gem experts tell us that properly cut, this magnificent large gem-quality, cutting grade piece will furnish excellent cut stones with the bonus that there is asterism in the rough material. This means that the stones, whe cut, shoudl show the "star" effect" of some other gemstones, and it is uncommon in quartz.
