Item Description

Twin towers of intergrown gem aquamarine crystals majectically rise up from the matrix on this outstanding and aesthetic large combination from Chumar Bakhoor. The textbook hexagonal water-clear crystals reach 5.0 cm, have fine light blue color and nifty shimmering glassy faces. The "towers" protect a sculptural, fine cluster of smaller aquas and rest on the classic undulating matrix of pearlescent muscovite plates with albite crystals on one one. Very nearly pristine. The larget aqua has only a trivial edge bruise, as does the tallest aqua in the secondary cluster. These are barely noticeable and are out-of-sight in the primary display side. One end of the piece is a contact. An impressive and dramatic 270-degree aqua combination. Valued at $3500-3750 and worth it.
