A beautiful gem aquamarine aesthetically set on matrix. This dramatic, highly unusually shaped, hexagonal gem aquamarine crystal is accompanied by its baby brother and is from the Haramosh Mountains. The 3.1 x 2.8 x 2.7 cm is water-clear, gem and has fine blue color. You can look down the very glassy C-axis on both crystals and easily see the underlying glassy, granular K-feldspar matrix. A couple of sides of the aquas are preferentially frosted and the modest interior veils add character. Both crystals are complete all-around. The modest bit of termination edge wear to both crystals is noted, but certainly has only minimal impact to the overall high sculptural and aesthetic quality of this piece. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $145 (for free). Valued at $1500-1750. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
