Item Description

A gem, rich ice-blue aquamarine with interesting skewed hexagonal form from Nagar. The entire length of the crystal is nearly water-clear. The light horizontal interior veils obscure the limpid quality of this extremely glassy and lustrous crystal. The glassy termination has a matte finish. Complete all-around and in great shape. A bit of termination edge wear and basal periphery wear on a narrow prism face next to the side car with a broken termination are noted, but have minimal impact to the overal excellent quality of this gem crystal. Mass is 80 grams. Ex R.D. Mushlitz Collection. MUCH BETTER in person, as the high lustre, glassiness, limpid quality and interior veils made photography difficult.
