Item Description
A beautiful, gem, light sea-green aquamarine crystal with frosted prism faces and a nifty, water-clear, modified, pinacoidal termination. The water-clear crystal has a yellow tint from iron oxides on the contacted, tabular, aqua on the back. Very nearly pristine, with only trivial scuffing to a frontal edge. This is classic old-time material from the famous pegmatites at Teolfilo Otoni and dates to 1968 on the Trimingham label. Rare today, as none have been found since. 13 grams.
