A beautiful, limpid, light ice-blue, 2.9 cm, aquamarine crystal is aesthetically set on the edge of the bladed cleavelandite and albite matrix on this showy and excellent combination from Chumar Bakhoor. The striking hexagonal aqua has unusual rounded/frosted/etched prism faces, with an absolutely stunning water-clear C-axis termination! The aqua is pristine and the matrix also hosts a quartz point and a nearly buried, champagne-colored topaz crystal. A very fine and unusual older combination aquamarine from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this piece at $500, over ten years ago.
