Item Description

A striking gem aquamarine from a six to seven year-old find at the La Esperanza Quarry. The color is a pleasing light sea-green. The doubly terminated crystal has a nifty split termination with interesting etching all-around. This one also has clay inclusions. Argentine aquas are pretty rare! Ex Dave Stoudt Collection. Dave lived and worked in Argentina and established good contacts there. He purchased this in Buenos Aires in 2007. 56.59 carats or over 11 grams.
