Item Description

A striking gem aquamarine from a six to seven year-old find at the La Esperanza Quarry. The color is a pleasing light sea-green. The crystal has an impressive double swallow tail termination with interesting etching. One termination is very jagged and the other is a level pinacoid! Argentine aquas are pretty rare! Ex Dave Stoudt Collection. Dave lived and worked in Argentina and established good contacts there. He purchased this in Buenos Aires in 2007. 42.3 carats or over 8 grams.
