Item Description
Rich plate of lustrous black Gaudefroyite crystals coated in places with micro-Andradites. The shiny, tabular Gaudefroyites range up to .8 cm and they comprise virtually the entire plate. A rare manganese mineral, these have been sought after for many years. Classic, old, and hard to obtain, this is a good, representative example of the species.
