Item Description
Gaspeite is a rare nickel carbonate, a member of the Calcite Group. This rich specimen is from the Type Locality on the Gaspe Peninsula of Quebec. Lustrous, translucent light green crusts richly cover all sides of the blocky hefty matrix. Specimens from the Type Locale are seldom on the market, although those from Australia are more rich and colorful. Ex Matioli Collection.
