Item Description
A very rare specimen of the zeolite species Garronite-(Ca) (formerly just Garronite) from the uncommon locality at Goble, Oregon. A few small stark white spherical aggregates (up to 1.5 mm) of Garronite-(Ca) can be seen on the volcanic rock matrix. This is super rare material, and if you're a zeolite collector or if you collect minerals of the United States, don't miss out on this one as they are virtually impossible to obtain on the market. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7784). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). A cool micro piece of this elusive material.
