Item Description
A very flashy and unusual specimen of metallic-bright, cubo-octahedral Galena crystals from the famous Huanzala Mine of Peru. Cubo-octahedral Galena crystals are rare from the Huanzala Mine and these equant, mirror bright crystals are from 1.5 to 2.2 cm across with sharp edges and subtle growth features developed on some of their faces. The Galenas are set on rounded and mounded clusters of finely crystalline brownish Sphalerite to 2.5 cm across. A few small clusters of bright white Dolomite crystals accent the piece in places. An unusual sulfide specimen from Huanzala.
