Galena with Quartz and Chalcopyrite

Years ago there were so many of these superb quality sulfides from Peru on the market, and they seem to have disappeared recently. This piece features sharp, lustrous, slightly iridescent, metallic cubic crystals of silvery Galena meausring up to 2.6 cm on edge. The Galenas are associated with golden Chalcopyrite and crystallized Quartz on top. These pieces are becoming more and more difficult to obtain these days. No damage on the display side that I can see.
