Intergrown, splendent, metallic-gray, octahedral and cuboctahedral, galena crystals have amazing faces and are beautifully accented by beds of glassy, dogtooth calcite crystals. The sharp galenas have either striking melted-look or stepped-growth crystal faces. This very fine piece displays well from three sides and is pristine. The complex crystal forms elevate this piece to a high status. This must have been a significant find, as even the orebody is known. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection # 10. Valued at $500-600.
