Item Description

An impressive example of a Tri-State classic, of very sharp modified galena cubes piled up on a striking boxwork matrix. The splendent crystals measure to 2.5 cm. The galenas are preferentially peppered with tiny, glittery, pyrite cubes and the rubyjack sphalerite is very gemmy. This is classic older, Kansas Tri-State material from a more obscure district from the Smithsonian and Dr. Ed David Collections. The piece displays very well from several angles. Valued at $750.
