Item Description

Splendent, metallic-gray intergrown galena cubes form a showy, rich and impressive specimen from this less well-known Viburnum Trend Pb-Zn mine. The striking elongated cube in the center is 3.3 cm and the scattered sparkly drusy quartz coatings are a nice accent. The bit of noted bruising on the right side of the piece is certainly only a modest detraction. Ex Joe Lobell Collection. A fine and uncommon galena from this mine.
