Classic, sculptural, old-time galena, marcasite and sphalerite on chert from the Picher Field of the Tri-State District. Intergrown, sharp, lustrous, battleship-gray galena cubes, to 2.9 cm, have dramatic fortification features. Contrasting lustrous, bronzey marcasite crystals are scattered about and are richly concentrated on one side with a field of dark rubyjack sphalerite crystals.
