Scattered small purple fluorite cubes are a nifty accent to this dramatic cluster of splendent, stepped-growth, battleship-gray galena cubes. Some cube faces are curved, which really adds character and rarity. Fine galena specimens from the Southern Illinois Fluorite District are not all that common. This very showy piece has multiple display possibilities, as four of the six faces are pristine. Heavy lead at 736 grams or 1.6 pounds.
