Item Description

Sharp, isolated, galena octahedrons, to 2.9 cm, are aesthetically scattered on the massive galena matrix. The rich coating of tiny cream-colored dolomite rhombs is a rare and excellent contrast and compliment. The matte-luster, dark gray galenas have nifty preferential secondary galena overgrowths on some faces. The noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this showy and excellent combination rarity from this very old, but active mine. Ex Paco Gutierrez Collection.
