Documented specimens from this obscure, long-closed Tri-State District, Oklahoma lead mine are EXTREMELY RARE. This is a really cute mounded cluster of sharp, moderately lustrous, battleship-gray octahedrons aesthetically and colorfully accented with tiny iridescent golden chalcopyrite crystals. The imposing 2.1 cm elongated galena at the crest is damatically etched or skeletonized. Outstanding, classic and rare old-time material from the Howard Belsky Collection. Howard was well-known for the accuracy of this locality and label information.
