Item Description
A striking 2.0 cm lustrous, translucent nailhead spar calcite crystal "tower" stands proudly above the sculptural combination small cabinet on this adorable specimen from the famous Sweetwater Mine and the Tom Wolfe Calcite Collection. Intergrown clusters of lustrous battleship-gray galena cubes on one end are an impressive and typical accessory. The matrix is covered with lustrous dolomite rhombs richly peppered with sparkly tiny brassy marcasite crystals. A very fine older classic combination from the noted locale from the 1970s or 80s.
