Item Description

Very sharp, unusually shaped, densely intergrown galena crystals form a striking and rare specimen from this well-known Colorado locale. The metallic-gray crystals have high to silky luster. Some crystals look like flattened spinel-twins and some are cuboctahedrons. A couple of crystals have interesting skeletal/hollow features. Choice and uncommon galena from Creede from the Bob Trimingham Collection and purchased in 1992 from David New. A must for the species or locality collector.
