A fine, old-time combination specimen from this famous mine, closed in 1884, and renowned for superb bournonite specimens. Rounded clusters of metallic-gray, cuboctahedral galena crystals and chalcopyrite-coated, euhedral tetrahedite crystals are richly and attractively scattered on a quartz crystal rind above the massive sulfide matrix. Lustrous, jet-black tetrahedrite is revealed in a few bruised/broken crystals. Classic and choice old combination material from the Bob Trimingham Collection. Value??
