A cluster of flattened, spinel twins of highly lustrous, silvery, metallic gray galena to 2.5 cm in length, is augmented by a small spray of quartz crystals. A first rate miniature specimen of spinel twinned galena! This material was som eof the first we saw from this fr locatlity when Russia started opening up, and at the time they were shocking to collectors. Today, such specimens are rare on the market, and date to the 1980s-1990s. From the Keith Williams Collection of miniatures and small cabinet specimens - Keith was a well known dealer and collector for decades before retiring recently. Valued $350 on his label.
