Item Description
Some of the most well-known examples of "Spinel-Law" twinned Galenas are those from Dalnegorsk, Russia. This mining district has produced some of the best crystallized examples of well-known sulfides for a few decades now, and they will go down as classics in terms of their size and quality. This small cabinet sized display specimen is a good quality, showy and eye-catching piece featuring several excellent, silvery, metallic crystals of Galena featuring the classic "Spinel-Law" twinning habit, with minor pocket clay matrix on the back . An aesthetic display specimen, mined in the mid 1990s.
