Item Description

A classic and excellent large Joplin Field combination from the Bob Trimingham Collection. The impressive, large, stepped-growth, battleship-gray galena cube is aesthetically complimented by the field of lustrous, black sphalerite crystals and pink dolomite rhombs on chert matrix. The galena is complete all-around and pristine. One corner is contacted, but there is no damage, per se. Choice old-time material from Paul Patchick Collection and purchased in calulated 1964 from Boodle Lane, according to Bob's label.
