Item Description

An aesthetic and excellent combination from this well-known locale and the Bob Trimingham Collection. Lustrous, sharp, battleship-gray, galena cuboctahedrons to 1.7 cm are dramatically set on the nubby, bubbly matrix of sphalerite microcrystals. Lustrous, tan, siderite rhombs preferentially cover much of the piece, including the termination of the striking, 3.8 cm, quartz crystal in the lower center of the piece. The color contrasts are noteworthy. Very fine combination material from this classic locale.
