Item Description

Unusually etched and frosted metalic-gray galena cubes with tabular, tan siderite crystals form a showy and rich combination specimen from this famous Colorado locale. The large cube is 1.5 cm on edge and a few sphalerite crystals are a nice accent. Galena is very uncommon from the Eagle Mine and this is a rare form. In great shape, with only trivial periphery wear. A MUST for the Colorado or species collector. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and acquired at the Colorado Springs Mineral Show in 1989.
