Item Description
Fascinating stepped-growth features highlight the mirror-bright, metallic-gray galena cubes scattered on the sculptural large matrix plate. The impressive large isolated cube is 3.2 cm across and the elongated cube is 3.3 cm across. Complementary, contrasting sprays of glassy quartz points with tiny sphalerite crystals embedded on and included in the quartz crystals are a very aesthetic addition and are typical accessories. The lead-zinc Krushev dol Mine in the well-known polymetallic Madan ore field is famous for excellent galena, sphalerite, chalcopyrite and other species and this is a classic, very showy and highly representative combination example.
