Item Description

A very showy, unusual and classic combination sulfide specimen from the famous Huanzala Mine. Unusual, lustrous, cubic and cuboctahedral galena crystas have striking fortification features. A few, mirror-bright, brass-yellow, well-striated, pyrite crystals peer out among the galenas and there are even a couple of lustrous, jet-black sphalerite crystal noted on one edge. The mounded specimen is in super shape, with just a bit of trivial edgewear. Galenas of this form are not that common from Huanzala and this is a really good combination example. Ex Vincent Valade and Robert Whitmore Collections. Much better in person.
