Item Description

Showy and excellent combination material from the well-known Huaron District. Moderately lustrous, battleship-gray, galena cubes to 1.6 cm are very aesthetically clustered among glassy, frosted, quartz points and accented with a few brassy pyrite pyritohedrons. The galenas have a nifty stepped-growth faces and diagnostic to Huaron, wavy, ripple-like lines on other crystal faces. Pristine, except for the periphery wear. Classic and desirable combo material from the late 1980s-early 90s production peak. Ex Vincent Valade and Robert Whitmore Collections.
