Item Description
Outside of browsing a copy of Sowerby's Exotic Mineralogy, I have seen very few of these classic English pseudomorphs. They were found rarely in the late 1700s or early 1800s; and experts acknowledge that quality specimens of this pseudo come out on the order of decades, not years, ago. The grey-colored Galena actually sparkles when you look at it up close, and the form after the Pyromorphite is eye-catching. You can even find these referenced in The History of Cornwall Minerals. A very fine miniature. Valued highly as they are never on the market!
