Item Description

An old-time, classic, combination, Tri-State specimen from the much less well-known Blue Goose Mine of Baxter Springs, Kansas. A 3.9 x 3.4 x 3.3 cm, splendent, metallic-gray, galena cube with a very nifty corner dimple is very jauntily set atop highly lustrous, dark reddish-brown, rubyjack sphalerite. The galena does have some minor edge and corner wear, that is very minimally detracting. This remains a very showy and excellent combo piece from this historic district and uncommon mine. Ex Miller and George Feist Collections. Feist # 1635.
