Item Description

The White Raven Mine is one of the signature localities in Boulder County due to the fact that it produced a good number of specimens that have found their way to many collections around the world. The material is instantly recognizable, and this piece is a classic example of said material. A stalactitic formation of golden Siderite plays host to small metallic grey Galena crystals. If you've always wanted a piece of this well-known but now very hard to find material, don't miss out on this one. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#9851). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
