Fascinating stepped-growth features highlight the dense intergrown cluster of mirror-bright, metallic-gray galena cubes, cuboctahedrons and a single SPINEL-TWIN along with a complementary field of quartz points on the sculptural large matrix plate. The spinel-twin is 2.2 cm across. The well-known polymetallic Madan ore field is famous for excellent galena, sphalerite, chalcopyrite and other species and this is a classic, very showy and highly representative combination example. 640 grams or 1.4 pounds mass.
