Item Description

An impressive large combination pseudomorph from the Harold Urish Collection. Sparkly, bright, brass-yellow, pyrite cubes have pseudomorphed large, tabular, hexagonal, pyrrhotite crystals. You can see the thick tabular and hexagonal forms and also unaltered pyrrhotite. A striking compliment are the absolutely splendent, metallic-gray, galena crystals. The modest bit of periphery wear is certainly a modest detraction to this dramatic, 360-degree specimen. Hefty sulfide ore at 5.3 pounds or 2.4 kilos. These pseudos are quite rare from the Potosi Mine and the combination with the galena makes this even rarer.
