Galena on Pyrite and Quartz

A showy, intergrown cluster of splendent galena cubes is jauntily perched on a matrix of brassy pyrite and quartz crystals on this excellent combination specimen from the Madan District. A trivial bit of edgewear is noted on the galena crystals, but is a very modest detraction. The piece displays well from all sides and is a highly representative example of the combination species.
