Item Description
Mineral specimens of any type are rarely seen or available from the famous old mines at Siegen, Germany. This fine, very rich and showy CABINET combination features a vein of cauliflower-shaped clusters of small, lustrous, battleship-gray galena crystals on a thin matrix of cream-colored dolomite. Pristine, with just a bit of periphery wear, especially fine, undoubtably old and rare combination material from this classic locale. Rich lead ore. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection. Valued at $200-300.
