An outstanding, old-time classic from the Picher Field of Kansas. This is a sharp, textbook, matt-finish, single galena octahedron with nifty skeletal features. Complete all-around. One lower corner and the base are contacted. This remains a striking, large single octo from this famous locale. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection # 204 with a 1970 date. Old material from his collection.
