Galena in Quartz Pocket, with Sphalerite

A fine Eastern European combo specimen, this large cab features dozens of satiny Galena cubes, up to about 1 cm, nestled in a pocket made entirely of Quartz crystals. Associated are cm-size clusters of dark, lustrous Sphalerite, bright Chalcopyrite, and a dusting of Calcite best seen when fluorescing. This piece is dramatic and classic, as well as visually delicate despite its imposing size.
