Galena, Fluorite & Calcite (Trimingham Coll.)

Item Description

Splendent, super-sharp, metallic-gray, galena octahedrons are impressively clustered and aesthetically accented with a well-placed, 1.5 cm, glassy, stepped-growth, pastel-green, fluorite cuboctahedron and clusters of dogtooth calcite crystals. The striking large galena is 2.6 x 2.3 cm. A well-balanced and aesthetic galena combination piece from Naica, that displays well without aid. Specimens from the San Vicente Mine are very uncommon.
