Item Description

Flat combination specimens are rare and unusual from the famous fluorite mines of Hardin County. This aesthetic plate is capped by a nifty cluster of lustrous, modified galena cubes resting atop strangely etched intergrown purple fluorite cubes, more galenas and a rich dusting of tiny calcite crystals. Self-collected by Ross Lillie in December, 1987 from a flat-lying pocket.
