A really good Tri-State galena specimen. A textbook, metallic-luster, galena cube rests on starkly contrasting saddle-shaped dolomite crystal matrix. Super nifty accents include two smaller galena crystals and a small cluster of rubyjack sphalerite crystals at the base, a 9 mm calcite crystal embedded in the top and a preferentially dusting on the top and one side of the cube of marcasite microcrystals. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, this is classic, old-time and excellent material from this historic locale. Ex George Feist Collection # 2466. For the size, this is outstanding.
